We believe that even as a small business we can still make an impact. Our communities grow and thrive with every action that’s taken to improve them, big and small. That’s why we’ve joined Pledge 1% to donate 1% of our time to our communities
Pledge 1% is a program that allows companies to pledge 1% of their equity, profit, product, and/or employee time to any cause they choose. Companies have the flexibility to pledge any combination of those resources, and while starting with "1%" is recommended, the program recognizes that each company is unique in their path to success. Therefore, it encourages companies to give what they can to sustain their impact program with their business. Some companies may pledge more than 1%, while others may pledge less. The focus should be on leveraging what they have to give in the best possible way.
Taking the pledge means committing to give, even if it's at a later date. For example, a company may pledge 1% of product and profit but initially focus on product until they have profit to give.
